The bible tells us that every good and perfect gift is from above (James 1:17). Christmas is a time to give gifts to those we love and appreciate. Our freedom, families, and our homes are all gifts. Our jobs and our health are also gifts from a kind and merciful God. Each of you is a gift, and we would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you all for your hard work, the many hours you have spent here this past year, and your contribution in making HHC a leader in the industry. We thank God for you and the success He has given our company. We also want to wish you and your family a very merry CHRISTMAS!
This is a good time of year to consider again that we were created by God to know Him and enjoy Him forever but, because of our sin, we have become separated from Him. Our souls are never content, and we are His enemies until we are reconciled to Him. As we celebrate Christmas we remember God made a way for that to happen. He gave the ultimate gift – His Son, Jesus Christ, who came to earth as a man in order to be our substitute. He suffered the penalty for our sins, which is death. Through God’s gift of love in Jesus, we have the promise of eternal life if we put our trust in Him. Going to church won’t save us; living a good life won’t either. Only the “Lamb of God” can take away our sin and give us peace with God. Some say this is foolishness, but the bible says the good news about Jesus is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).
Well, by the grace of God, we have believed the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ and have experienced the joy of having our sins forgiven. Our prayer is that each of you would honestly consider the state of your soul and ask God to open your spiritual eyes to see Jesus as your glorious Savior. We want to share the good news of great joy that “unto you is born…a Savior, who is Christ the Lord”. The message of Christmas is one that offers hope, purpose and peace with God, and joy beyond what this world can offer.
Many say, “Happy Holidays” and “Seasons Greetings”. These are wonderful expressions – similar to the greeting we read about in the book of Luke in the bible. A great crowd of heavenly angels were joyfully announcing the birth of Jesus the Savior. They cried, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests”. That is good news. So we choose to say…
“MERRY CHRISTMAS, THE SAVIOR HAS COME”
